Every Once In a While, I'm SO Proud...

One of our colleagues has a store and also sells on the Internet. His descriptions and prices are excellent: fully described books and jackets, full value for the price he asks. He sent us the following e-mail exchange with a would-be customer, or idiot, if you prefer:
Book Listing:
> Title: The New Tom Swift Jr. Adventures / Tom Swift and His Cosmotron Express
> Author: Appleton, Victor II
> Publisher: Grosset & Dunlap
> Book ID: 001883
> Price: USD 62.5
> Description: Lovely emerald topstain. Spine is canted a noticeable 1/4 inch and there's a small bang to edge of rear board; book will close its textblock & rear board but not front board. PON to pre-title page, which carries a teaser explaining the fiendish pltot to destroy Swift Enterprises with a frightening weapon, the Enormous Orb. Interest in the adventures of Tom and Bud -- and thus press runs -- were obviously waning by this point. Rear board lists to this title, the 32nd and second-rarest of the series, superseded only by No. 33, The Galaxy Ghosts, not yet listed here. 180 pp, followed by an ad for Christopher Cool, Teen Agent.

> Terms of Sale: For return and refund information see Abe Books policies. Delivery of parcels to Africa, Latin America, and Asia (except Japan)can be problematical. We urge prospective buyers in these regions to contact us in advance to determine if secure shipping can be arranged. Delivery to a relative, business associate or consular official in North America, Europe, Japan or Australia is often the best option. In our experience, deliveries to Italy and France take at least three weeks, regardless of shipping
