There are mysteries for everyone, almost. I haven't been able to find anyone who writes about transgendered folks, but there are many Gay and Lesbian mystery series, to wit:
Michael Nava - Gay Mexican-American lawyer. At least there's one thing to hate about him.
George Baxt - the Pharoah Love series
Laurie R. King - not the Mary Russelland Sherlock Holmes series - the Kate Martinelli series
Val McDermis - Lindsay Gordon series
and of course the two authors who have been published for many years by Naiad Press:
Claire McNab and Katherine V. Forrest.
