A Lesson Learned

No, I didn't learn a lesson, but you might try my kind, gentle approach when dealing with IIs. Follow the electron trail below:

1. Initial order response from the vending site, dated July 18th:
Thank you for your order.  Delivery estimate: July 25, 2011 - Aug. 9, 2011

2. Followup response from the vending site, dated July 25th:
We're writing about the order you placed on 7/18/2011 with chimera512.  Unfortunately, chimera512 has not confirmed the shipment of this order, and we are not able to provide you with shipment details yet. Because of this, your credit card has not been charged.

3. My follow-up to seller, dated July 27th:
Did you receive this order ?

No answer until I sent the following electron blast

4. My further follow-up to seller on July 28th:
Strongly recommend you do one of two things:
1. Confirm and send my order.
2. Expect absolutely horrendous feedback if you cancel it.

5. Final message on this purchase, just 4 hours after my bomb blast:
chimera512 shipped the following item(s) in your order 104-7053128-1617818, placed on July 18, 2011.
Delivery Estimate: July 25, 2011 - August 09, 2011
You have been charged for the following items shipped today:
The Last Colony; Sold by: chimera512; Condition: used - like new

6. Maybe !
Now, we'll have to wait and see if the moron sends the book that I ordered. Probably more to come !
