William Lashner is an author new to us. I have thought for quite some time that Steve Martini in his Paul Madriani series writes the best lawyerly mysteries around, even though his stand-alone books except for The Simeon Chamber suck. Wrong, as usual - oh, well. Lashner writes incredibly witty lawyerly books, and is well worth your reading time. It appears that the prices of his books in collectible condition so far is quite low, and I tend to believe that they will not skyrocket. But, if you want a good read, buy him in paperback. Now.
